Fees & Policies

BENEFIT COVERAGE

Services are covered by most benefits and EAP programs. Services are self-pay with the client submitting the invoice to their benefit provider 

Fees

Single virtual sessions $140 per 55-minute session.

Couples virtual session $280 per 80-minute session.

Payment Options

E-transfer

INVOICE & RECEIPTS

Payment is due upon receipt. You will receive a receipt immediately when payment is made. The receipt will include a registration number that can be used when claiming benefits or insurance.

Reschedule and Cancellations

Life happens! If you need to reschedule your appointment please email, call or text.  I will send you reminders for 24 hours in advance. You may always reschedule our meeting if your situation changes. You will not be charged for rescheduling with 24 hours notice.  Cancelation after 24 hours, may result in your being charged for the session.  If you do not show up for a scheduled appointment, or contact us in advance, you will be required to pay for the missed session.

Other Fees

Phone Follow-Up Consultation  

15-30 min.     $75.00

30-45 min.     $100.00

45-60 min.     $140.00


Cancellation Fee (less than 24 hrs)

1st Missed Appointment Without Notice

2% a month on invoices fee

Policies

Payment Policies

Full payment must be received before releasing any written document and any ongoing treatment sessions needed.

Future appointments will be cancelled if payment from a previous session has not been received.

Late payment fee: a monthly 2% late payment fee will be added to each invoice that has not been paid.

I accept e-transfers payments only at this time. 

We require a credit card on file for first appointments or 50% of the session cost.


Cancellations/No Show/Late Arrival Policies

We must receive 24 hours’ notice prior to your scheduled appointment if a cancellation is required.  A $50.00 fee will be charged for cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice.

There will be a 50% charge for the first missed appointment without a cancellation notice. The full session rate will be charged for subsequent missed appointments.

If you are late for your appointment, your session will end at the designated end time and you will be charged for the full scheduled time. We make every effort to stay on schedule, so clients are not waiting.


Communication Policies

Telephone consultations will be billed according to the time spent.

No email consultations are allowed; we will discuss them at the next session.

Rockyshores Counselling  will not provide letters of support for any separated/divorced parents that are going through legal proceedings.


Insurance Coverage Policy

The client is responsible for checking their own insurance coverage. We are not responsible for any communication between insurance companies as we do not directly bill.
